Just Because

Just because I have a lot of stuff floating around in my head and I am hoping to start posting, but I need to post something since it has been a while. I wanted to share this video with you. I think I may enjoy this more than the original. Happy Tuesday!!

Love Cats!

In continuing with my "flashback" music I have been listening to, I couldn't leave out one of my favorite bands, The Cure.

Love cats is a different song and of course it is The Cure
so the video is a little kooky but that is why it is so great.
The video was hard to find so the quality isn't the best but the song is the big part anyways.

Feeling Nostalgic

Today I am feeling a little nostalgic. I have been loving all of the music from my childhood that has been popping up on my iPod, including this little ditty.

Yes that is The Jets! If you don't know who they are then you definitely need to give it a listen. They are a family band that was around in the 80's, yes I just dated myself. Notice the big hair and synthesizers. I have to say thank you to my brother in law Josh for giving me their greatest hits on my iPod which reminded me how much I loved them.

I love music from my childhood which is comprised from oldies to country and everything else inbetween. I think I might just start sharing some of my favorite songs and memories, from back in the day even though it starts making me feel old.

Woops it's Wednesday

Disclamer: this was supposed to originally post yesterday so it should have been Tuesday Tunes but I couldn't get anything to work so here we are for what I am going to call "Woops it's Wednesday." :-)
Don't you love when a song comes on the radio or pops up on your iPod that sums up exactly how you have been feeling lately?

"Little Miss" is a song by the band Sugarland and it fits perfectly with how I have been feeling lately.

Here are the lyrics or you can watch the video to hear it.
(FYI I hate Youtube videos that aren't of the band but their video for this song has not been released yet so it is just music with their album cover)
Be forewarned it is a country song so if you dislike country then maybe you won't want to listen to it.

Little Miss down on love
Little Miss I give up
Little Miss I'll get tough, don't you worry about me anymore
Little Miss checkered dress
Little Miss one big mess
Little Miss I'll take less when I always give so much more

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
Yeah, sometimes you gotta lose 'til you win
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It'll be alright again
It'll be alright again, I'm okay
It'll be alright again, I'm okay (I'm okay)
It'll be alright again, I'm okay

Little Miss do your best
Little Miss never rest
Little Miss be my guest, I'll make more anytime that it runs out
Little Miss you'll go far
Little Miss hide your scars
Little Miss who you are is so much more than you like to talk about

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
Yeah, sometimes you gotta lose 'til you win
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It'll be alright again
It'll be alright again, I'm okay
It'll be alright again, I'm okay (I'm okay)
It'll be alright again, I'm okay

Hooooooooooold Ooooooooon
Hooooooooooold On, you are loved
Are loved.......

Little Miss brand new start
Little Miss do your part
Little Miss big 'ole heart beats wide open and she's ready now for love

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
Yeah, sometimes you gotta lose 'til you win
It's alright, it's alright, it's alright
It'll be alright again
It'll be alright again, I'm okay
It'll be alright again, I'm okay (I'm okay, it'll be alright again)
I'm okay! (It'll be alright again)
