Pictures from a Monday Morning

I took these photos on the way to work yesterday morning. They aren't the greatest because they were taken on my phone, in the car, but I loved the way the sky looked yesterday out by our house.

Car....Sad

This poor blog is starting to get neglected like my first one, sad.
I had some posts that I wanted to do this week but then Tuesday happened.
Hubby and I were on our way to work, we carpool. We were on the free-way
and this happened:

Yes that is my car and yes it is damaged. It was a sad sad day but hopefully I will have my little car back in a couple weeks. I have missed it for the last few days. It is fast, gets great gas mileage and it is MY car. Hubby feels bad but accidents happen and we both walked away with out injury which is the important thing.
Thank goodness for insurance!

Now that the shock has worn off I think I can get back to posting more regularly.

Birthday and weekend round-up

Before I get to the happenings from the last week I have to do one thing....

Wish my momma

A Very Happy Birthday!!

Isn't she pretty? I hope I look that good when I'm a Grandma. :-)
I love my Mom! We have had our issues and we did butt heads a lot growing up, but she has always been there for me when I needed her. So happy birthday Mom.

I can't believe it is Monday again and that I haven't updated for a whole week, so I am sorry if this post gets a little long.
This last week was fun and a little tiring. I was able to take a couple days off from work.
Wednesday I got to clean my house, finally and catch up on some much needed rest super exciting right?
Thursday we were able to go to one of the husband's best friends weddings. What a beautiful day at the temple (a little cold) and we were so honored to be included in their celebration. We spent most of the day down town and didn't return home until later in the evening but I LOVE weddings(I may be a little obsessed)  so it was great for me. Aren't they a beautiful couple? I wish we had gotten more pictures of their reception it was fantastic!

Friday we were able to have some of our friends down to our house for dinner. We hadn't seen them in such a long time! We met in our ward when we were first married but they moved North and we moved South so it has been a while. We enjoyed some yummy, if I do say so myself, enchiladas made by yours truly and just chatted the night away.

Saturday was just a nice relaxing day. Saturday night ended with us getting smoothies at Roxberry and me "serenading" Adam, loudly, with every song on the radio the whole way home.

Sunday was church and a birthday celebration with the family. So all in all a great weekend, but it is back to work this week.

Wish me luck!

The weekend, the weekend

I can't believe it is Monday....
I had a great weekend but I can't figure out where all that time went.
Friday it was spent with some awesome ladies! We get together every few weeks to tackle a new craft project or try and catch up on scrapbooking. This week we made Family Rule Boards based off the ones found here at Tatertots and Jello

I don't have a finished one to show you because I didn't like the way mine turned out so I am starting over, I seem to do that a lot. Maybe someone will let me share theirs?

On Saturday the husband and I went to the movies. We saw this attractive man in "Source Code." It was a fantastic movie and I definitely recommend it. If nothing else do your self the favor and go just to see this blue-eyed hottie.

We didn't make it to see Sugar Ray, it was raining and cold and we were invited to go play a little Rock Band with some friends and family. It was a lot of fun and as an added bonus I got to hold my little nephew who is getting so big by the way.

Sunday, of course, was church. It was an uplifting day and I am feeling a little spiritually re-charged.

I didn't get a lot of the things done this weekend that I was hoping too but my time was spent with family and friends so I guess that is all that matters.

Taking a ride and other news

Well it has happened, I got my ticket......

I am now taking a ride on the Clomid train.
Wish me luck and cross your fingers that we are only blessed with ONE baby if this helps us get pregnant. I am terrified, excited and every emotion inbetween. I may or may not have had a small freak out on Adam yesterday.

In other news this handsome man with piercing blue eyes from my junior high/high school days
will be performing in Provo, Saturday evening, for free with his band SugarRay. If you are saying you don't know who he is then you need to shut your mouth. I am trying to convince the husband that we should make a little stop in this weekend to see him.
Here is the info just click the link:

Letter

Dear future baby Nicholes,

It has been about 16 months now that your daddy and I have been trying for you.
We have not had a whole lot of luck and we are hoping the doctors will be able to figure out why it is taking so long. I hope that you are up there in heaven getting to know your great grandparents and your Heavenly Father and that you are just really enjoying your time there and aren't ready to leave.
Please know how badly your daddy and I want you here with us
but I guess you just aren't ready yet.
I do want to tell you that once you decide to make your entrance into this world and our family we will give you
the most loving and caring home we possibly can.
We promise lots of hugs and kisses and that we will teach you
everything we know to prepare you for the road of life ahead.
We can't always guarantee that you will like us or
even agree with our rules or punishments
but just know everything we do is done
with love and what we think is best for you.
There will be lots of bumps and trials in this life but
we will be there to help you through them.
Along with the bad or hard moments there will be
lots of wonderful and amazing things too.
We hope to raise you to be a smart, kind, compassionate, educated, truthful, strong, spiritual, independent person who knows
who they are and can stand true to that.
We can't wait for the day you decide to join our family. You have grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins anxious for the day we can finally tell them that we are pregnant and that we will be welcoming you to our own little family.
The last few months have been extremely trying and emotional for your mommy
but I know that when you decide to join our family
all of that will be a distant memory.
I dream of you often and I find myself
wondering who you will look like and thinking of
how happy I will be to hold you in my arms
and sing you to sleep.
We are not expecting you yet but know
that we will keep trying and praying for you sweet baby.
Our perfect baby with a little bit of mom and a little bit of dad.
We don't know when the day will come
that we are finallypregnant
but we already love you and are ready
any time you want to make your way down to us.

Love always,

Your hopefully soon to be Mom

Another post without a title.

It's Monday....bleh!
However, I had a fantastic weekend.
It was filled with spending time with family,
an open house for a beautiful couple who were married this weekend,
time with the hubby and
listening to the fantastic messages from our church leaders.

I have realized something this weekend though.
I don't like pictures of myself.
It's not that I don't like the way I look
I just don't like the way I look in pictures.
So my new goal for my new blog is to
put up more pictures. I know
I enjoy reading blogs more that have pictures
so I would think my blog would be more
enjoyable with pictures.
Along with pictures to go along with my posts
I am going to try and put up more pictures with me in them.
We'll see how long that lasts.

This is a very random post but like I said before
it's Monday so this is about as good as it gets.
